Auto-KYC v1 · Live in Ghana
ZenoXCare verifies members automatically — Ghana Card or passport, selfie + liveness, sanctions screen, and address — with humans only reviewing the borderline cases. Every RED decision tells you exactly which signal failed, so you can fix it and retry.

The pipeline
Six checks run in order. Each one produces a confidence score, and the combined result decides whether you're verified instantly, sent for a quick second look, or asked to fix a specific issue. The exact thresholds are documented for our auditors and shared with regulators on request.
On a flat, well-lit surface; we run an on-device quality check (blur, glare, framing) before you upload, so vendors rarely reject the photo.
We compare your selfie to the photo on your ID and confirm you are physically present (no static photos or deepfakes).
For Ghana Cards we check the National Identification Authority registry directly through Smile ID's Enhanced KYC – Ghana product.
Enter your GhanaPostGPS digital address (e.g. GA-543-0125). We resolve it to coordinates and compare with the address on your ID.
We screen your name through ComplyAdvantage for sanctions, politically-exposed-person lists, and adverse media. Most members clear in seconds.
GREEN: you're verified instantly and your wallet limits go up. AMBER: a compliance reviewer takes a quick second look. RED: we explain the specific issue so you can fix it and try again.
What we keep, for how long
We hold the smallest viable footprint — encrypted, region-aware, and deleted on a daily schedule. Your NIN never touches our database; only a one-way HMAC commitment is kept so we can prove the same person verified, without ever rebuilding the number.

Encrypted private storage; hard-deleted by a daily retention job.

Per Ghana DPC ROPA-002.
Ghana Card NIN
Only a HMAC commitment — verifiable, never reversible.
Decisions you can trust
The decision engine fuses every stage's score into one of three bands. We publish the thresholds in code and in the public dataset, so neither members nor regulators have to take our word for it.
Band
GREEN
Verified instantly
Wallet limits raised; care + payments unblocked. Most members land here in under 60 seconds.
Band
AMBER
Compliance Co-Pilot review
A reviewer takes a quick second look using the Compliance Co-Pilot draft; you stay informed throughout.
Band
RED
Specific reason explained
We tell you exactly which signal failed (document quality, liveness, sanctions hit, address mismatch) so you can fix it and retry.
FAQs
Usually no. Patient checkout for a single visit, lab test, scan, or pharmacy order goes directly through your card or MoMo to the verified provider — no platform-held value, no KYC required. We require identity verification only when the flow becomes financially regulated: wallets, payouts, financing, insurance reimbursements, or cross-border movement.
When you top up a wallet beyond GH₵ 500/month, withdraw to your MoMo or bank account, receive an insurance reimbursement, take care financing, or move money across the Ghana border. We never ask for identity verification just to book a visit, buy a lab test, or pay a pharmacy.
Most members finish in under 60 seconds. The pipeline targets a 95th-percentile end-to-end time of 60 seconds; the live timeline shows you exactly where each step is.
No. Raw images are kept in private encrypted storage for at most 30 days, then hard-deleted by a daily retention job. We persist only a HMAC commitment of the NIN — verifiable, never reversible.
A Ghanaian passport works for the same flow. Foreign passports route through our document AI fallback and an additional human review.
An automated decision engine handles clear cases. A Compliance Co-Pilot drafts a decision for borderline cases; humans review it. You always see the reason for any RED decision and can request review.
Ghana Data Protection Act 2012 (Act 843) for personal data; Anti-Money Laundering Act 2008 (Act 749) for sanctions screening; ISO 27001 / ISO 27701 / SOC 2 for security and privacy management; and the platform's own Data Protection Impact Assessment for biometric processing.
Verification only takes a minute, and you only need to do it once. Until you raise a wallet limit, take care financing, or request an insurance reimbursement, you can use ZenoXCarewithout it.
